1. The Purpose of Truly
Truly exists to provide an antidote to algorithmic noise, performative feeds, and shallow social apps. Every Circle is an intimate, 60-minute conversational space where 8 people and 1 trained host gather for genuine human dialogue.
When you join a Circle, you enter a shared social contract built on kindness, presence, and mutual respect.
2. The Four Participant Commitments
1. Be Present & Camera-On
Join on time from a quiet space with headphones. Keep your camera on. Authentic conversation requires eye contact and visual presence.
2. Practice Generous Listening
Listen without interrupting, preparing your rebuttal, or dominating airtime. Make room for quieter voices in the room.
3. Honor Confidentiality
What is shared inside the Circle stays in the Circle. Never screenshot, screen-record, or repeat personal stories shared by others.
4. Respect Boundaries
Post-call connections are strictly double-blind. Never pressure anyone for private phone numbers or personal contact details during the call.
3. Zero-Tolerance Violations
To protect psychological safety, Truly enforces immediate removal and permanent platform bans for:
- Harassment & Bullying: Persistent targeting, hostility, personal insults, or intimidation of any participant or host.
- Sexual Misconduct: Inappropriate commentary, sexual innuendo, vulgarity, or unwanted sexual advances.
- Hate Speech & Discrimination: Derogatory remarks based on religion, gender, caste, ethnicity, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Recording & Privacy Invasions: Capturing video/audio streams, taking screenshots, or attempting to expose fellow participants online.
- Commercial Solicitation & Spam: Pitching businesses, network marketing schemes, financial products, or cryptocurrency.
- Impersonation & Fraud: Using false identities or joining calls under another person's name.
4. Host Facilitation & Enforcement
Every Truly Circle is guided by a verified host who is responsible for keeping the conversation flowing smoothly:
- Gentle Moderation: If a discussion becomes tense or off-topic, the host redirects the conversation back to the theme.
- Muting: The host may mute audio if background noise disrupts the call.
- Immediate Ejection: In any instance of severe misconduct, the host immediately removes the offending participant from the live room.
5. Reporting an Incident
If you ever feel uncomfortable or witness a violation of these guidelines:
- During the Call: Inform the host privately or ask for assistance.
- After the Call: Submit a flag via the post-call feedback card or email our safety desk directly at trulyapp.in@gmail.com with the date and approximate time.
Every safety report is treated with strict confidentiality and investigated by our team within 24 hours.
